Dear all,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the celebration of the 200th pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA), performed at the University Hospitals of Leuven.
For this occasion, we would like to present the complex multimodality approach to patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), including surgery, interventional
approach and medical therapy. Additionally we will report on patient outcome. As you can see in the attached programme, we will pay particular attention to early diagnosis of CTEPH in the follow-up of
patients with pulmonary embolism, since we are convinced that many patients with significant exercise limitation could be helped if diagnosed earlier.
