EHA-SWG Scientific meeting: Integrated approach to demanding hematological diagnoses, from MDS to leukemias

The EHA-SWG Scientific meeting: Integrated approach to demanding hematological diagnoses, from MDS to leukemias will take place on September 10-12, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. This meeting will cover a comprehensive approach of the diagnostic management of difficult hematological patients and will guide participants through the normal aspects of hematopoiesis, and related diagnostic issues, through practical cases of both morphology and flow. Emphasis will be brought to practical situations as well as on the management of these diagnoses work-ups in the light of laboratory accreditation. The meeting would also like to update the audience on clinical and therapeutic parts related to the diagnoses reached. Interactive sessions with cases, listmodes and voting boxes for self-assessment of delegates will be included. In addition, a dedicated round table will be organized to provide room for discussion with patient organizations. This meeting will provide a unique opportunity for laboratory scientists and young hematologists to interact with experts and patient representatives.
