WE SUPPORT OUR YOUNG HEMATOLOGISTS*
*A “young” hematologist is defined as a hematologist in training or trained for less than 5 years.

The BHS wants to promote the education of young hematologists and decided to support the attendance to:
La Cantera
La Cantera is a seminar organized by Professor Massimo Federico with the support of EHA (European Hematology Association). This seminar is dedicated to young European hematologists (under the supervision of 2 coaches) in the field of lymphoma.
The seminar will take place in Lecce, Italy from Wednesday, 15 to Friday, 17 May 2024.

One different Belgian young hematologist will be invited to this event during the next 3 years and he/she will be supported by the BHS grant.
The grant will cover the registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation*.
*Reimbursement of expenses will be based on original invoices. Travel by plane needs to be in economy class.

- 3rd Translational Research Conference: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (8-10 March, Vienna, Austria)
- 9th Translational Research Conference: Myelodysplastic Syndromes (12-14 April, Budapest, Hungary)
- 10th Translational Research Conference: Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (26-28 April, Mandelieu-La Napoule, France)
- 3rd Translational Research Conference: Immune & Cellular Therapies: Focus on Advanced Gene-Engineered Immune Cells (13-15 September, Malahide, Ireland)
The BHS grant will support up to two young hematologists per course.
The grant will cover their registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation.*
